Simon Chappel

Simon has founded and successfully operated his own construction company for thirty years during which time he won two national awards for innovation in construction.

Simon is the founding partner of the $165 million dollar Finders Link development and a founding partner of the $80 million dollar  “On Statenborough” one hundred and thirty four dwelling retirement complex, awarded ‘Best Seniors Living’ in Australia 2012.’

Simon has built a property portfolio over thirty years and in that time has gained a reputation for innovation and problem solving, bringing complex projects to completion on time and on budget and identifying opportunities in the often difficult Adelaide market.

The Simon Chappel Group with joint venture partner The Kambitsis Group are Prime Space Projects, owners and developers of a diverse  range of property assets encompassing commercial office, car parking, retail shopping and warehousing across two states.

 

George Kambitsis

As director of The Kambitsis Group & Prime Space Projects, George has a strong reputation in the marketplace for his accomplishments in property development including commercial developments such as Flinders Link (Santos Headquarters and IAG building) and the 5 star Green  Star rated building at 19 Gouger Street which accommodates two major legal firms – Thomson Lawyers and Fisher Jeffries. He has successfully negotiated the purchase of land from DefenceSA, with Prime Space Projects being selected to develop and construct two office buildings at the Techport Australia Commercial Campus which are associated with the Air Warfare Destroyer Project, and expanded Prime Space Projects portfolio into Brisbane and the Gold Coast.

Actively involved in improving Adelaide’s West End over the past decade and owning several properties in the area, George Kambitsis has taken a lead role in working with the Adelaide City Council and Government of South Australia on the urban renewal and preservation of the precinct. George was notably behind the Hindley Street revival in 2001 and enticing new tenants into the strip including several major SA arts organisations such as The Adelaide Symphony Orchestra and The Adelaide Festival. Instrumental in forming the Adelaide West End Association and as a past president, George continues to be a member of the AWEA Executive Committee and contributes ideas to renew and revitalise this vibrant area.
