Overview
In the vibrant, world-class shipbuilding, defence and industry precinct of Techport Australia, the AWD Alliance Systems Centre is a part of the South Australian Government’s $300-million commitment to deliver the Royal Australian Navy’s next generation $8-billion Air Warfare Destroyers and is the hub of the AWD project accommodating key AWD Alliance partners.
Located at 39 Veitch Road Osborne, the AWD Alliance Systems Centre forms part of the two-level commercial building development which is linked, by a common foyer entrance lobby, to the Raytheon Australia Systems Integration Facility. The AWD Alliance Systems Centre contains 5,283m² of office space, and the facility is designed to accommodate a gymnasium and leased cafe.
With an open plan office design and a very high standard of fitout, the design of the ‘campus’ style accommodation suits the highly-specialised needs of the tenant. The ‘central street‘ internal design theme provides excellent circulation and connectivity through the building, and large amounts of natural light, which is supplemented by the inclusion of the atriums.
