The 2012 Urban Development Institute of Australia’s (UDIA) National Awards for Excellence were announced last night at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre. The UDIA National Awards Gala Dinner is a night of celebration, recognizing skills and innovation in the urban development industry and the highest quality developments from across the country. This year’s award nominees again continued to present innovative and exceptional projects which are of the highest standard in the industry.
“The 2012 UDIA National Awards for Excellence are a showcase for the very best of Australia’s development projects. The nominees for tonight’s awards have demonstrated the best in urban development while addressing critical social and environmental issues such as sustainability and affordable housing, and I congratulate them for their outstanding work” said Julie Katz, UDIA National President.
The Awards for Excellence consist of nine categories and the national awards Judges, Stephen Holmes and Grant Dennis, were tremendously impressed with all the nominated projects. UDIA congratulates the winners on their achievement and thanks the awards sponsors for their ongoing support.
